My mission is to go to Sri Lanka with a team of students to help to re-build a schools facilities.
Many buildings were destroyed during the terrible tsunami of 2004 and a team of students from my school went this summer to a school to help re-build facilities. The team were supported by the World Challenge organisation. It was such a success that I will be going with a new team to continue the good work in the summer of 2007.
I have to raise a minimum of 2,100 pounds to cover the cost of the trip and I have already undertaken a number of events to start raising money.
All money raised will be used for the trip for myself or other students if they are less successful than me at fund-raising.
